RE: GRANT EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE TO BERENERGY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the ,,icy
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

Oil and Gas Lease currently held by Benenergy Corporation , which
will expire October 9 , 1988 , and n

WHEREAS, Berenergy Corporation has submitted a request that
the Board of County Commissioners grant an extension of said Oil N

extension of Oil and Gas Leases, Berenergy Corporation has W

WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to extend said Oil

Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the extension of the
Oil and Gas Lease with Berenergy Corporation to April 9 , 1989 , on

TO THE COMMISSIONERS:
Berenergy Corporation is the Lessee under that certain oil
and gas lease, dated October 9, 1985, covering 24 net
mineral acres in the captioned lands.
In accordance with numbered paragraph 23 of said lease,
Berenergy requests an extension of the primary term of said
lease acknowledging the requirement to pay rentals at double
the current rate.
Berenergy has been closely monitoring the activity in the
area, participated in drilling to the southwest of this
lease (1-1/2 miles) , supported a test in Section 14 , a dry
hole, and caused the drilling of a well about 2-1/2 miles
south and east of this lease. We would like to extend this
lease while continuing to evaluate the local area for
potential . Your positive consideration of this request will
be greatly appreciated.
