RE: SUPPLEMENTAL REVENUE SHARING BUDGET - FISCAL YEAR 1987
A public hearing was conducted on April 27, 1987, at 9:00 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner - Excused
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tommie Antuna
Weld County Attorney, Thomas 0. David
Director of Finance & Administration, Donald Warden
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 13, 1987, and
duly published April 16, 1987, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public
hearing was conducted to consider the proposed Supplemental Revenue
Sharing Budget for Fiscal Year 1987. Don Warden, Director of Finance
and Administration, made this matter of record. Mr. Warden said the
recommendation is to use all fiscal year 1987 Supplemental Revenue
Sharing funds for road maintenance in Weld County, and there have been
no public objections nor any comments for alternative uses. He said
these monies are final settlement monies from the Federal Revenue
Sharing Program which expired September 30, 1986. There was no public
comment concerning this matter. Commissioner Kirby moved to approve
the Resolution authorizing that the Revenue Sharing Funds for fiscal
year 1987, be used for road maintenance in Weld County. Commissioner
Johnson seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 29th day of April, 1987.
