RE: APPROVE REASSIGNMENT, APPOINTMENT, AND REAPPOINTMENTS 'TO
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
-Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of
Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ed Dolan, formerly an
Associate Member of said Board, be reassigned to the District 3
position, with his term to expire December 31 , 1989 , and
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that Sidney Walker be
appointed to the Associate Member position on said Board, with his
term to expire December 31 , 1991 , and
WHEREAS, it has teen recommended that Bob Sorensen and Dennis
Gesterling be reappointed to said Board, with their terms to
expire December 31 , 1991 , and
WHEREAS, the -Board deems it advisable to reassign, appoint,
and reappoint the abovementioned persons to the -Board of
Adjustment with their terms to expire as stated above.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Ed Dolan -be
reassigned to the District 3 position on the Board of Adjustment,
with his term to expire December 31 , 3.989 , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Sidney Walker be
appointed to the Associate Member position on said -Board; and that
Bob Sorensen and Dennis Gesterling be reappointed to said Board,
with their terms to expire December 31 , 1991 .

The above and foregoing -Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted -by the following vote on the 23rd day of
January, A.D. , 1989 .

Please -add the following Board of Adjustment reassignment, appointment, and
reappointments to the Commissioners' Monday, January 23, 1989, agenda:
Ed Dolan will be reassigned to Rhonda Giles' District 3 position as she has
served the maximum length of time allowed. Mr. Dolan was formerly an
associate member of the board. His term of office will still expire
12/31/89.
Sidney Walker will be appointed to fill Ed Dolan's Associate Member
position. Mr. Walker's term of office will expire 12/31/9%.
Bob Sorensen (District 2) and Dennis Gesterling (District 6) will be
reappointed. Their terms of office will expire 12/31/91.
