RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP AHEAD" AND "STOP" SIGNS IN
GRANDVIEW HIGHLAND ESTATES SUBDIVISION AT WELD COUNTY ROAD 7
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Engineering Department has submitted a request
to the Board that "Stop Ahead" and "Stop" signs be installed on
three accesses from Grandview Highland Estates Subdivision onto
Weld County Road 7 , and
WHEREAS , said accesses are Weld County Roads 141 and 16 and
Holly Street , with said roads being accepted for maintenance by
the County on October 28 , 1970 , and
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the County Engineer, the
Board deems it advisable to install said traffic control devices
at said intersections, those intersections being identified on the
map, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering be, and hereby is , directed to install "Stop Ahead"
and "Stop" signs to control traffic on the hereinabove described
accesses from Grandview Highland Estates Subdivision onto Weld
County Road 7 . Said traffic control devices , which are for the
safety of the general public , must conform to the State manual and
specifications .

The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
April , A.D. , 1986 .

Subject Corrected Resolution
Attached is a drawing for the request to install traffic control devices
on WCR 16, Holly Street, and WCR 141/2 from Puritan Subdivision, along
with the Road and Bridge recommendation.
The drawing submitted with the Resolution dated February 24, 1986, for
installation of "Stop" signs in Ranch Eggs Subdivision at WCR 7 was
incorrect and needs to be amended with this drawing and to read as
follows :
Approve installation of "Stop" and "Stop Ahead" signs in
Puritan Subdivision at Weld County Road 7.
