RE: ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION TO WELD COUNTY BY STATE FARM INSURANCE
COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State Farm Insurance Company wishes to donate a
Motorola PAC-RT FM mobile repeater radio, valued at $1 ,250 , and a
Syntor unit, valued at $1 ,000 , to Weld County, and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Weld County to formally accept
all donations via Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the donation of a
Motorola PAC-RT FM mobile repeater radio and a Syntor unit by
State Farm Insurance Company be, and hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this
Resolution, along with a letter of appreciation, be forwarded to
State Farm Insurance Company, 3001 8th Avenue , Greeley, Colorado
80631 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
April, A.D. , 1985.

As you and I have discussed by telephone, I have in my possession
a Motorola PAC-RT FM mobile repeater radio and a Motorola Syntor.
These were formerly property of the Weld County Sheriff's Department.
It is State Farm's wish to donate these two items to Weld County.
The value of the Motorola PAC-RT would be approximately $1 ,250
while the Syntor unit would be approximately $1 ,000. It is my
understanding that the Weld County Commissioners would need to
pass a resolution accepting this equipment from State Farm.
I am requesting that you submit this letter to the Commissioners
asking them to accept State Farm's donation to the county.
