The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be approved for the reasons:

Dear Sirs,
This letter is to provide background information and to explain the
request to locate a Mobile Home as shown on the attached
sketch plan at 20975 County Road 3, Berthoud Colorado.
The building we presently occupy is in an agriculturaly zoned area
and has been approved for use as a Church meetinghouse by a Conditional
Use Permit issued in 1978. The number of classrooms and teaching
, stations is inadequate for our present and projected needs and a new
' building has been approved for construction in the Town of Berthoud. It
is proposed that a Mobile Home be used to provide additional classroom
space in the interim period.
Glaser and Associates in Fort Collins have been working on the
archictectural design and are projecting construction to begin in early
spring of this year with completion scheduled approximately 8 - 9
months after start of construction. The building we now occupy is
planned to be sold after completion of the new building.
The trailer proposed to be used is a Porta Built model No.
1470CBB 9395 (S/N 3687-10-38) and is approximately 8 months old. It is
proposed that the trailer be leased for a period of 12 months with the
option of an additional 3 months if unusual construction delays
develop. Provisions for removal of the trailer at the end of the lease
are included in the lease contract. The present building and the
location of the proposed office trailer are shown on the attached
drawing.
