RE: Kennel building to be located on part of the NEi SWi of Section 6, T2N,
R64W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
Dear Mr. Johnson: -
The Department of Planning Services' staff reviewed your letter dated March
- 9, 1988, requesting to place a 30 foot X 50 foot kennel building on the
property as a replacement for the 36 foot X 42 foot kennel building shown on •
the approved plat for USR #699. The temporary kennel structure being used
on the property is to be used for the storage building .as shown on the plat.
The staff has determined that the proposed 30 foot X 50 foot kennel building
and storage structure would not be a major change to Special review permit
#699. Any further changes to USR 4699, could require an amendment.
Building permits are required to place the kennel building as on the
property and to move the storage building.

Res Building Permit for Kennel Building - USR-699+ 85.43
Dear Keith:
This letter is in regard to the above mentioned building permit.
I was in the Planning Office on Monday, March 7th to apply for
the permit. At that time, I was told I would have to put into
writing the reason for the change of the size of the kennel
building. The reason for this is after checking around with
different contractors, this size is the best priced. The 36'x
42' building would cost $8. 00/sq. ft, whereas the 30'x50' will
be $7. 60/sq. ft. The square footage is only changed by 12
square feet.
The size of the building will not change the number of dogs
that will be housed in it. The original building showed 82
crates and this one will hold the same number. The use of the
building will be the same as originally planned and explained
in our original application.
We are temporarily using the storage building for the kennel.
All of this was approved earlier in 1987. The temporary kennel
(storage) building will be used for storage after the new ken-
nel building is completed.
