RE: APPROVE DISMISSAL OF SHOW CAUSE HEARING TO CONSIDER
REVOCATION OF USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW #589 ISSUED TO VESSELS
OIL AND GAS
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado , pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on March 19 , 1986 , a Show Cause Hearing was
conducted to consider revocation of Use by Special Review #589 ,
issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company, and
WHEREAS , at said hearing , due to the approval of amendments
to Use by Special Review #589 , it was recommended that said Show
Cause Hearing be dismissed without prejudice , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to dismiss said Show
Cause Hearing without prejudice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Show Cause
Hearing to consider revocation of Use by Special Review #589 ,
issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company, be , and hereby is ,
dismissed without prejudice.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of
March, A.D. , 1986 .

A public hearing was conducted on March 19, 1986, at 2:00 P.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Chairman
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner
Commissioner C.W. Kirby
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Debbie de Besche
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 9, 1985, and
duly published October 31, 1985, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public
hearing was conducted to show cause for the revocation of Use by
Special Review #589, issued to Vessels Oil and Gas Company. Lee
Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. He
stated that because the Board had approved an amendment to Use by
Special Review #589, in a previous hearing, it would be appropriate to
dismiss this hearing without prejudice. Commissioner Lacy moved to
dismiss the hearing to show cause for revocation of Use by Special
Review #589 without prejudice. The motion was seconded by Commissioner
Kirby and carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 24th day of March, 1986.
