RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE -
JANET W. BETZ AND LINDA BOTTERILL
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
1tule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , on March 12 , 1986 , a hearing was conducted to
consider the request of Janet W. Betz and Linda Botterill for a
Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to C-4 (Highway-Commercial) ,
and
WHEREAS, only three Commissioners were present at said
hearing, and a request was received that the hearing be continued
to March 19 , 1986 , when all five Commissioners will be present,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to continue said
hearing to March 19 , 1986 , at 2 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , that the hearing to
consider the request of Janet W. Betz and Linda Botterill for a
Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to C-4 (Highway-Commercial)
be, and hereby is, continued to March 19 , 1986 , at 2: 00 p.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 12th day of
March, A.D. ,� 1986 .

A publi-c hearing was -conducted on March 12, 1986, at 2:00 P.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Chairman
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, fro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner
Commissioner C.W. Kirby - Excused
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi - Excused
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, -Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Gloria V. Dunn
The following business was -transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a 'notice dated -February 3, 1986, and
duly published February 6, 1986, in the Johnstown Breeze, a -public
hearing was conducted to monsider the request of Janet W. Betz and
Linda Botterill for a Change of Zone from A (-Agricultural) to C-4
(Highway-Commercial) . Zee D. Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made
this matter of record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department
representative, stated that, because only three Commissioners were
present for this hearing, a request was -received from the applicant to
continue this matter to March 19, 1986, when all Commissioners will be
present. Commissioner Lacy moved to Continue the hearing to consider
the request of Janet W. Betz and Linda Botterill for a Change of Zone
to March 19, 1986, at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Brantner seconded the
motion which carried unanimously.
This Certification vas approved on the 17th day of March, 1986.
