RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVAL OF MAP TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF
HIGHWAYS SHOWING TOTAL MILEAGE OF PUBLIC ROADS IN WELD COUNTY
WHICH ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE HIGHWAY USERS TAX
FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has prepared
a map to be submitted to the Colorado Department of Highways
showing the total miles of public roads in Weld County which have
been accepted by the County and are eligible for participation in
the Highway Users Tax Fund, and
WHEREAS, said mileage consists of 3,271 .6 total maintained
miles, in accordance with the 1988 Annual County Report, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to approve said map to
be submitted to the Colorado Department of Highways .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said map to be
submitted to the Colorado Department of Highways concerning the
total mileage of public roads in Weld County, which are eligible
for participation in the Highway Users Tax Fund, be, and hereby
is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
February, A.D. , 1989.
