RE: APPROVE QUIT CLAIM DEED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Deed
concerning Weld County' s interest in and to all oil and gas
underlying the road right-of-way being the tract or parcel of land
containing 1. 254 acres, more or less, in the South Half of Section
16, Township 6 North, Range 65 West of the 6th Principal Meridian,
being more particularly described as:
Beginning at a point on the South line of [the
captioned Section] from which point the
Southeast corner of said Section 16 bears
North 88°36'30" East a distance of 39.0 feet;
thence South 88°26 ' West a distance of 1484.3
feet; thence South 0°45' East a distance of
34.5 feet to a point on the South line of said
Section 16; thence North 88°35' 30" East along
said South line of Section 16 a distance of
1483.9 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Quit Claim Deed to Arline B. Cook, Dorothy M. Kler,
William O. Riggs, Charlotte N. Tidquist, Dale M. Riggs and Bessie
M. Riggs, a copy of said Deed being attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hereinabove
described Quit Claim Deed be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Deed.
