Home My WebLink About881477 RESOLUTION TO ADOPT BUDGET A RESOLUTION SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR THE GENERAL FUND AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE BEEBE DRAW LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY DISTRICT, LOCATED IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1989, AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 1989. WHEREAS, the Board of the Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority District has appointed the Weld County Director of Finance and Administration to prepare and submit a proposed budget to said governing body at the proper time; and WHEREAS, the Weld County Director of Finance and Administration has submitted a proposed budget to this governing body for its consideration; and WHEREAS, upon due and proper notice, published or posted in accordance with the law, said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at a designated place, a public hearing was held on November 14, 1988, and interested taxpayers were given the opportunity to file or register any objections to said proposed budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BEEBE DRAW LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY BOARD LOCATED IN WELD COUNTY, COLORADO: Section 1 . That estimated expenditures for each fund are as follows: General Fund $ 119 Section 2. That estimated revenues for each fund are as follows: General Fund: From unappropriated surpluses $ -0- From sources other than general property tax -0- From the general property tax levy 119 TOTAL GENERAL FUND $ 119 861477 SNOCCI Section 3. The budget reflects the intent of the creators which is to provide more adequate law enforcement for persons residing in the district to prevent the crime rate from rising therein and to better assist law enforcement agencies in prevention of crime and in the detection and apprehension of criminal offenders. The final budget calls for the maximum mill levy of 3.703 mills permitted by Section 30-11-406, CRS, 1973. The $119 is the same as the 1988 budget amount. Services equating to the revenue generated are proposed to be provided via a law enforcement contract with the Weld County Sheriff's Office.
