RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST OF MIKE GLEASON,
REPRESENTING GLEASON LAND COMPANY, FOR MODIFICATION OF OIL
AND GAS LEASE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated December 10 ,
1986 , approve the request of Gleason Land Company to waive the bid
procedure and lease the following described mineral acres:
The east thirty feet of the southeast quarter
of the southeast quarter of Section 10 ,
Township 4 North , Range 67 West of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, Mike Gleason , representing Gleason Land Company, has
requested that certain portions of said lease be modified, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to refer
Mr. Gleason' s request to the County Attorney' s staff for
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Mike
Gleason, representing Gleason Land Company, for modification of
certain portions of the oil and gas lease concerning the above
described mineral acres be, and hereby is, referred to the County
Attorney' s staff for recommendation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
January, A.D. , 1987.
