CARLSON, III, DBA INN OF LONGMONT, FOR HOTEL/RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE, WITH EXTENDED HOURS The application of Patti L. and Stener J. Carlson, III, dba Inn of Longmont, 3815 Highway 119, Longmont, Colorado 80501-9543, for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License, with extended hours, came on for hearing on the 11th day October, 1989, at 10:00 a.m., and the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, having heard the testimony and evidence adduced upon said hearing, and having considered the testimony, evidence and remonstrances filed with said Board, and having carefully weighed the same, now makes the following findings: 1. The evidence discloses that the applicant has sustained the burden of proof as to the desires of the inhabitants. 2. That the applicant is of good character and reputation. 3. The applicant has proven the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has considered the application of Patti L. and Stener J. Carlson, III, dba Inn of Longmont, 3815 Highway 119, Longmont, Colorado 80501-9543, for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License, with extended hours, for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors by the drink for consumption on the premises only, and WHEREAS, said applicant has paid to the County of Weld the sum of $450.00 for the hearing fee, in addition to the other required fees, and WHEREAS, due to the Findings of the Board of County Commissioners in this matter, as stated herein, the Board deems it advisable to approve said application for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License, with extended hours, for Patti L. and Stener J. Carlson, III, dba Inn of Longmont. Carlson, III, dba Inn of Longmont, for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License, with extended hours, for the sale of malt, vinous and spirituous liquors by the drink for consumption on the premises only, for the reasons stated herein. CARLSON, III, DBA INN OF LONGMONT A public hearing was conducted on October 11, 1989, at 10:00 A.M., with the following present: Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Chairman Commissioner Gene R. Brantner, Pro-Tem Commissioner Constance L. Harbert - Arrived later Commissioner George Kennedy Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff Assistant County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated August 28, 1989, and duly published September 7, 1989, in The New News, a public hearing was conducted to consider the application of Patti L. and Stener J. Carlson, III, dba Inn of Longmont, for a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License. Bruce Barker, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. (Let the record reflect that Commissioner Harbert is now present.) The applicants came forward to explain their request and answer questions of the Board. They explained that Ms. Carlson will manage the establishment. They also noted that the required notice was posted on October 1. Commissioner Kennedy stated that everything was in order when he made the on —site inspection of the premises. No public comment was offered concerning this request. Commissioner Lacy reviewed the criteria to be considered in the granting of a liquor license before moving to make the necessary findings and approve a Hotel/Restaurant Liquor License for Patti L. and Stener J. Carlson, III. Seconded by Commissioner Kennedy, the motion carried unanimously. This Certification was approved on the 16th day of October, 1989.
