RE: APPROVE FINAL SETTLEMENT WITH PARKER AND COMPANY AUCTIONEERS
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , on September 21 , 1985 , an auction of County surplus
equipment was held, and
WHEREAS, the total proceeds of the sale were $98 ,234 .00 , with
the auctioneer' s fee being 5% , for a total of $4 ,911 . 70 , and
WHEREAS, Art Parker, Parker and Company Auctioneers , has
submitted a Final Settlement for payment of said services, and
WHEREAS , the Board deems it appropriate that the Final
Settlement be approved and signed by the Chairman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Final Settlement
with Parker and Company Associates, concerning the auction held on
September 21 , 1985 , be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Final Settlement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
October, A.D. , 1985.
