WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,

op affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

a WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado, is the holder of a certain
u Oil and Gas Lease currently held by Fairway Energy Corporation,
which expired December 1 , 1985 , and

tS WHEREAS, said lease covers land more particularly described

WHEREAS, Fairway Energy Corporation has submitted a letter of
✓ w request that the Board of County Commissioners grant an extension
,n w of said Oil and Gas Lease for drilling purposes, and
o• z WHEREAS, pursuant to Weld County' s policy concerning the
extension of Oil and Gas Leases, Fairway Energy Corporation has
submitted Two Hundred Forty-Three and 10/100 Dollars ($243 . 10) ,
arepresenting Ten Dollars ($10 .00) per acre minimum bonus and One
Dollar ($1 .00) per acre rental, and

o ni r WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to extend the Oil and
'' 0 Gas Lease with Fairway Energy Corporation to June 1 , 1986 .

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the extension of the
Oil and Gas Lease with Fairway Energy Corporation to June 1 , 1986 ,
on the hereinabove described parcel be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is , authorized to sign said letter of request from Fairway
Energy Corporation.

Dear Commissioners,
Pursuant to your resolution dated August 28th, 1985 Fairway Energy
is requesting an extension of the Oil and Gas Lease covering 22.1 acres
located in Section 8, Township 7 North Range 63 West, 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado. Please find enclosed a check in the amount of $243.10 representing
the Ten Dollar minimum bonus and the One Dollar rental.
