Squires Consulting Engineers . The information was generated during the design and final construction approval of an extended aeration sewage treatment plant at the above referenced location,. In a letter to your. dated March 1.5, 1989, • the Weld County Department of Planning services requested that a Colorado Registered Professional Engineer review the existing .wastewater treatment facility and comment on its ability to accept effluent from an additional seven recreational vehicle pads . I have completed my review of all of the pertinent information including . the "Report on Expansion of Wastewater Treatment Facility for B & B Mobile Home and RV Park" prepared on July 15, 1986 . by W. C. Squires Consulting Engineers. I find that the original plans called for the construction of a facility designed to handle the effluent from one residence . twenty-two mobile homes , and fifty-two travel trailers , for a total of 75 units . The proposed addition of seven units . for recreational vehicles, is within the original parameters since , the current status is the existence of one residence, twenty-four. travel trailers. and twenty--two mobile homes . It is my conclusion that the addition of seven recreational vehicle pads is within the treatment capability of the " plant as designed. These spaces were anticipated by the design and still leave room for expansion before the capacity of the plant is reached. Dear Mr. Smith: Thank you for your letter of February 15, requesting the addition of seven , (7) recreational vehicle pads. The staff has determined that these recreational vehicle spaces would not be considered a major change. Prior to the release of any building permits for the construction of these additional pads, the Weld County Department of Health has requested that a Colorado Registered Professional Engineer review the existing wastewater treatment facility. The final analysis should take into account the increased flow from these additional spaces and determine the wastewater facility's adequacy. A copy of this study accompanied by the Weld County Department of Health' s approval shall be submitted to the Department of Planning Services.
