RE: APPROVE SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT WITH RBD, INC. , AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated February 9 , 1987,
enter into a Contract with RBD, Inc. , for engineering services for
the design of Weld County Bridge 6/23B, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Supplemental
Contract, making certain amendments to said Contract, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve the Supplemental Contract, the terms and conditions being
as stated in said Contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Supplemental
Contract between Weld County and RBD, Inc. , be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Supplemental Contract.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
March, A.D. , 1989 .

SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT
By mutual agreement, Weld County and RBD, Inc. hereby amend the contract
between these two entities dated February 9, 1987, for engineering services
necessary to replace the bridge on County Road 6 over the Lupton Bottom
Ditch, 2/3 mile west of State Highway 85 as follows:
1. In Article IV, Section I, Paragraph A, change the "lump sum"
amount from $22,900.00 to $26,800.00.
2. In Article IV, Section I , Paragraph C, change the "Total
cost not to be exceeded without a supplemental contract"
amount from $24,150.00 to $28,050.00.
