RE: APPROVE TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHTS TO CITY OF GREELEY BY SLIP
ASSIGNMENT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board has been presented with a Slip Assignment
transferring two shares of the capital stock of The Greeley and
Loveland Irrigation Company to the City of Greeley, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Slip Assignment, a copy of which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the transfer of two
shares of capital stock of The Greeley and Loveland Irrigation
Company to the City of Greeley by Slip Assignment be, and hereby
is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Slip Assignment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of
August, A.D. , 1988 .

Greeley, CO, August 24 , 1988
For value received we hereby sell, assign, and transfer unto City
of Greeley, Colorado, all our right, title, and interest in and to
two shares of the capital stock of The Greeley and Loveland
Irrigation Company as evidenced by Certificate No. 2701 of said
company. And do hereby authorize and empower the secretary of
said company to cancel said certificate and issue a new
certificate , or certificates, to effectuate this transfer on the
books of the company.

RE: Koenig Farm Lease
Dear Mr. Wagner:
You are currently the lessee of approximately 29.4 acres of land
adjacent to the Koenig gravel operation. This letter shall
constitute notice that Weld County wishes to terminate the lease
effective March 16 , 1989.
The County, at this time, has need for the water which is
associated with the property for purposes of replacing water lost
through the gravel operation. If you have an alternate source of
water, Weld County would consider leasing the property under an
amended lease. Weld County may also be able to lease the water to
you under a separate agreement.
Weld County would like to indicate its appreciation for the manner
in which you have carried out your operations on the County' s
property and the request to terminate the lease is no reflection
on your operation. Thank you for your continued cooperation in
this matter.
