CORNELL WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , a public hearing to consider the request of Lewis Wesley and Barbara J. Cornell to amend a Use by Special Review for a dog kennel was scheduled for April 23 , 1986 , at 2: 00 p.m. , as stated in the Notice dated March 26 , 1986, a copy of said Notice being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, at the hearing of April 23 , 1986 , the Planning Department staff advised the Board that the Hearing Notice was not received by the applicant in time that the sign advising of the hearing could be posted on the subject site the legally required amount of time prior to the hearing, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to continue this matter to May 7 , 1986 , at 2: 00 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to consider the request of Lewis Wesley and Barbara J. Lee Morrison, Assistant -County Attorney, made -this matter of record. Debbie de Besche, Planning Department representative, stated that the Planning -Department received a letter from Mrs. Cornell requesting that this hearing be continued, because the hearing notice was not received by them in time to post the sign the required ten days. Commissioner Kirby moved to -continue this matter to May 7, 1986, at 2:00 p.m. The -motion, seconded by Commissioner Brantner, carried unanimously.
