RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 1006 - THOMAS P. SCHMERGE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, on the 17th day of April, 1985 , considered the request
of Thomas P. Schmerge for a mobile home to be used beyond six
months for temporary storage, and
WHEREAS, ZPMH #942 was staff issued on September 28 , 1984 ,
and expired on March 28 , 1985 , and
WHEREAS, Thomas P. Schmerge must obtain a zoning permit from
the Board for an additional six months , and
WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be utilized in an
A-Agricultural Zone District on a parcel of land being more
particularly described as follows:
Part of the NE4, Section 12 , Township 4 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners , having heard the
testimony, finds that said request should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Thomas
P. Schmerge for one mobile home to be used beyond six months for
temporary storage be , and hereby is , granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that ZPMH #1006 shall
expire September 28 , 1985 .

This request is for one (1) mobile home to be used beyond six (6) months for
temporary storage
Legal Description of Parcel: Part of the NE1, Section 12, T4N, R65W of the
6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado
Location: More than three (3) miles southwest of Kersey; south of Weld
County Road 48 and east of Weld County Road 47.
The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and
recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons:

X Be in harmony with the character of the
neighborhood.
X Adversely affect the immediate area.
X Adversely affect the general health, safety and

COMMENTS:
The applicant is requesting an extension beyond six (6) months for temporary
storage. ZPMH-942 was staff-issued on September 28, 1984. This zoning
permit expired March 28, 1985. Mr. Schmerge plans to move the mobile home
within three (3) months. The Department of Planning Services has received
no objections to this application.

I currently have a mobile home in temporary storage located at 22643
Weld county Road 49. I have been remodeling a 14 by 70 mobile home
as well as adding a living room on as a double wide. I have completed
installing new doors, new windows, new siding , and the new roof on the
original mobile home as well as on the addition. I still need to instal
the plumbing , complete the electrical , and paint the new siding. Because
of the added weight on the frame due to the shingled roof and wood siding
I am strengthening the mobile home frame. I currently have steel ordered
at I)YERCO in Greeley for this purpose. This steel should be in by the
week of March 25 and will take about two weeks for me to have installed.
I don 't feel the mobile home can be safely moved until this step is
completed. I feel I can have the mobile home completed and ready to be
moved in about 3 months. For these reasons I am asking for an extensi on
to my temporary storage permit.
