To the Commissioners:
The Weld County Advisory Board of Health believes strongly that smoking is a
devastating health problem. The Weld County Advisory Board of Health also
believes that the Weld County Health Department has a mission to set health
standards in the County. We further believe that the support of "No Smoking"
legislation of any kind is well within the realm of this mission.
The Advisory Board requests that the County Commissioners be supportive as
opposed to restrictive of the Weld County Health Department's efforts in
promoting "No Smoking" and other health legislation.
