RE: APPROVE CORRECTION DEED TO HUDSON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board did, on the 29th day of October, 1984 ,
authorize the Chairman to sign a Quit Claim Deed to the Hudson
Fire Protection District for the purchase of certain property in
the Town of Hudson , and
WHEREAS, said Quit Claim Deed, recorded in the office of the
Weld County Clerk and Recorder, at Book 1047 , Reception Number
01986855 , listed the legal description as follows :
Block 45 , Lot 17 and the North 5 feet of Lot 18 and
the grader shed as located on said property.
WHEREAS , Transamerica Title Insurance Company is requesting
that the Board approve a Correction Deed to have the legal
description read as follows:
Lot 17 and the north 5 feet of Lot 18 , Block 45,
Town of Hudson , and the grader shed as located on
said property.
WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to approve the
request and issue a Correction Deed to the Hudson Fire Protection
District for the above described property and improvements and to
have said Correction Deed recorded in the office of the Weld
County Clerk and Recorder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , that the Correction Deed ,
to be issued to the Hudson Fire Protection District for the above
described property and improvements be , and hereby is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is , authorized to sign said Correction Deed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Correction Deed
shall be recorded in the office of the Weld County Clerk and
Recorder.
