RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF USED CATERPILLAR 623B TRACTOR SCRAPER
FROM GOLLAWAY EQUIPMENT, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Purchasing Policies and Procedures
require that all used property be purchased by Board Resolution,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Road and Bridge Department has
recommended the purchase of a used Caterpillar 623B Tractor
Scraper, Serial number 46P-1461 , from Galloway Equipment, Inc. , at
a cost of $80 ,500 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby authorizes the
purchase of the above described used Caterpillar 6238 Tractor
Scraper from Gollaway Equipment, Inc. , at a cost of $80 ,500 . 00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 22nd day of
August, A.D. , 1988 .
