subject: Platteville Senior Nutrition Sit_e_Aareement
Enclosed for Board approval is a non-financial site agreement between
the Platteville Fire Protection District and the Weld County Division
of Human Resources.
This agreement will allow the opening of a congregate senior nutrition
site in Platteville to serve approximately 40 seniors weekly.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made this 1st day of June, 1987, by and between
the Weld County Senior Nutrition Project, a department of the Weld
County Division of Human Resources , having its office in Greeley,
Colorado, hereinafter designated as the "Project" and the Platteville
Fire Protection District Station #1 (Platteville) , hereinafter desig-
nated as the "Site."
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to work together for the express
purpose of providing nutrition services to the senior citizens of Weld
County; and
WHEREAS, to implement these goals, the parties desire to establish
an agreement for the use of the Platteville Fire Protection District
Station #1 (Platteville) , for the Weld county Senior Nutrition Program,
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises , the parties hereto
covenant and agree as follows:
1. The Site agrees to allow the Project the use of its kitchen,
including equipment, restrooms , and dining hall at no cost as a congre-
gate meal site, Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
2. The Project will work with the University of Northern Colorado
to provide meals and supportive services to senior citizens of Weld
County.
3. Representatives of the Colorado State Department of Social
Services, Weld County Senior Nutrition staff, and Weld County Health
Department may make inspections of congregate meal sites at any reason-
able time.

4. The Project will be responsible for the recruitment of partici-
pants to the Weld county Senior Nutrition Project.
5. The Project shall hold the Site harmless against all claims,
demands, and judgements arising out of the use of the premises covered
by this Agreement.
6. This Agreement may be terminated upon thirty (30 days written
notice by either the Project or the Site.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have set their hands the day and
year above written.
