RE: Tri-town (Dacono, Frederick, Firestone) Request to
Extend their Area of Influence from Three Miles to Six Miles
Commissioners:
The City of Fort Lupton does not intend to be included in; or
be influenced by the "Tri-town" area neighbors to the west of our
City. We would not appreciate or agree to an increase in their
planning area of influence extension. The City of Fort Lupton is
also anticipating considerable growth and feel that any infringe-
ment is not in our best interests.
We would recommend that the three mile radius currently in
effect remain the standard between Fort Lupton and the Tri-town
areas.
