Tht substantial cost of providing such assistance serves as a strong deterrent to unnecessary displacement. x Replace all occupied and vacant occupiable low/moderate income housing demolished or converted as a direct result of CDBG—assisted project activities, and make such replacement housing affordable for at least ten years. BOx A GREELEY, COLORADO 80632 C. COLORADO Mr. Bill Kirby, Chairman Weld County Commissioners P.O. Box 758 Greeley, CO 80632 9 February 1989 Dear Bill, Enclosed you will find a "Residential Antidisplacement Plan" which must be signed by you, and then forwarded by us to the Depaihieut of Local Affairs as part of our 1989 CDBG application, which has already been submitted. This plan is a formality, as the WCHA does not intend to displace anyone through its proposed rehab activities; however, the State has advised us that we must submit a plan using their suggested format anyway. Since this is a formality for us, we were hoping that you could sign the plan and return it to us, rather than go through the Clerk to the Board to have this item put on your Board meeting agenda. If you find that this must be put on your agenda at any rate, please do so, and accept our apologies for trying alternative channels. Thank you. Sincerely, e"w Kate Newton WCHA /encl. 830170 "EQUAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITY" Hello
