RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT - ANTELOPE HILLS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a Petition for a Local Improvement District in
Antelope Hills Subdivision was submitted by owners of property
which is more particularly described in said Petition, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept
said Petition and schedule a Preliminary Hearing concerning this
matter for July 17 , 1989 , at or about 9 : 00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that a Preliminary Hearing
to consider the aforementioned Petition for a Local Improvement
District in Antelope Hills Subdivision be, and hereby is,
scheduled for July 17, 1989 , at or about 9 : 00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
July, A.D. , 1989 .

PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

FROM:
We, the undersigned citizens of Weld County, who are owners of record
of real property, propose to be assessed, more than one-half of the costs
assessed for the project, and which property will benefit from
improvements in the area of Weld County Road 70, from Weld County Road 23,
east for one-half mile, situated in Weld County, Colorado, do hereby
petition the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, for the formation of a local improvement district
pursuant to CRS, 30-20-601, et seq. Such improvement district is for the
purpose of paving Weld County Road 70.
The specific improvement we wish to have constructed is the installation
of a 2-inch thick asphalt surface, 24 feet wide.
We request that the material used be asphalt paving.
We request that the cost of the improvements not exceed $16,000.00.
The specific time and manner of assessments we recommend is as follows:
The amount to be assessed shall be divided equally between the
26 lots in Antelope Hills Subdivision, Filings 1 and 2. Each
property owner is to have the option of paying their assessment,
in full, without interest, within 30 days of assessment, or in
ten annual installments, at a rate of 10% simple interest, per annum,
which will be included on their Weld County property tax bill.

We further understand and acknowledge that we are to be
responsible individually for any grading or other adjustments to
our driveways and culverts necessitated by such project.
Do not sign this petition unless you are an "owner" of real
property benefitting from the project and requesting to be
assessed costs of the improvements. An owner is a person holding
fee title to real property. You are an "owner" if you hold a
contract to purchase real property which obligates you to pay
general taxes on that property. In that instance, the seller may
not sign this petition. CRS , §30-20.-602 (3) and 603 (3) .

PETITION FOR LOCAL IMPROVIDENT DISTRICT

FROM:
We, the undersigned citizens of Weld County, who are. owners of record
of real property, propose to be assessed, more than one-half of the costs
assessed for the project, and which property will benefit from
improvements in the area of Weld County Road 70, from Weld County Road 23,
east for one-half mile, situated in Weld County, Colorado, do hereby
petition the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, for the formation of a local improvement district
pursuant to CRS, 30-20-601, et seq. Such improvement district is for the
purpose of paving Weld County Road 70.
The specific improvement we wish to have constructed is the installation
of a 2-inch thick asphalt surface, 24 feet wide.
We request that the material used be asphalt paving.
We request that the cost of the improvements not exceed $16,000.00.
The specific time and manner of assessments we recommend is as follows:
The amount to be assessed shall be divided equally between the
26 lots in Antelope Hills Subdivision, Filings 1 and 2. Each
property owner is to have the option of paying their assessment,
in full, without interest, within 30 days of assessment, or in
ten annual installments, at a rate of 10% simple interest, per annum,
which will be included on their Weld County property tax bill.

We further understand and acknowledge that we are to be
responsible individually for any grading or other adjustments to
our driveways and culverts necessitated by such project .
Do not sign this petition unless you are an "owner" of real
property benefitting from the project and requesting to be
assessed costs of the improvements. An owner is a person holding
fee title to real property. You are an "owner" if you hold a
contract to purchase real property which obligates you to pay
general taxes on that property. In that instance , the seller may
not sign this petition. CRS , §30-20602 (3) and 603 (3) .
