HomeMy WebLinkAbout850726.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 990 - RICHARD BIRD WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on the 27th day of March, 1985 , considered the request of Richard Bird for a mobile home to be used as temporary storage, and WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be located in an A-Agricultural Zone District on a parcel of land being more particularly described as follows: Lot 2 , Block 33 , Aristocrat Ranchettes , a subdivision located in Section 27 , Township 2 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners , having heard the testimony, finds that said request should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Richard Bird for permission to place a mobile home to be used as temporary storage on the above described parcel of land, which was found to be in compliance with Section 43 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance , be , and hereby is, granted. The Department of Planning Services staff has reviewed this request and recommends that the request be approved for the following reasons: WILL WILL NOT X Be compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive Plan. X Be compatible with the surrounding area. X Be in harmony with the character of the neighborhood. X Adversely affect the immediate area. X Adversely affect the general health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the County. COMMENTS: The applicant is requesting an extension beyond six (6) months for temporary storage, The original permit (ZPMH-912) was staff-issued on July 19, 1984. This permit expired January 19, 1985. Mr. and Mrs. Bird propose to sell the mobile home and remove it from the property as soon as possible. The Department of Planning Services has received no objections regarding this application. Only one zoning permit for temporary storage of a mobile home may be issued per legal lot at any one time. 2. A zoning permit for temporary storage of a mobile home shall be for a period of six months, and is renewable for one additional six-month period only by grant of the Board of County Commissioners. Further, I, the undersigned, meet the following conditions which are required to be eligible for this permit. 1. The applicant must obtain a building permit for a mobile home and must comply with all installation standards of the Weld County Building Code applicable to mobile homes; provided, however, that no utility hookups to the mobile home of any type, including septic systems, shall be allowed. 2. The mobile home may not be used on any basis as a dwelling or as overnight or temporary housing for any person. 3. The applicant must demonstrate that no reasonable alternative exists to the temporary storage of the mobile home on the land involved. Please state the reason(s) which show that no reasonable alternative exists to the temporary storage of the mobile home.
