Home My WebLink About880269.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST FROM TOWN OF LA SALLE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the Town of La Salle for general repair and maintenance of Second Avenue Court, a street outside of the Town ' s boundaries, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to refer said request to the Engineering Department for its recommendation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request from the Town of La Salle for general repair and maintenance of Second Avenue Court be, and hereby is, referred to the Engineering Department for recommendation. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of April, A.D. , 1988 . Box 458 Greeley, Colorado 80632 Dear Commissioners: The purpose of this letter is to bring attention to a continual street problem we have with an area adjacent to the Town of LaSalle. More specifically, the street in question is 2nd Avenue Court, which is without a doubt outside of the Town' s boundaries. Residents along this particular "road" have requested general repair and maintenance of 2nd Avenue Court . The Town of LaSalle would appreciate the County addressing the issue of maintaining this particular street, and re- spond accordingly to the wishes of these taxpaying citizens .
