RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the County has identified that a 1974 GMC
Three-Ton Truck is no longer needed by Weld County and is
recommended to be donated to the City of Greeley for use as a
hazardous material transport vehicle, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual requires that all items disposed of be declared surplus
by the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby declares the
1974 GMC Three-Ton Truck with VIN No. TCE664V596214 as surplus
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes
the donation of the truck to the City of Greeley for use in
conjunction with the hazardous materials intergovernmental
agreement dated March 13 , 1985 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
June, A.D. , 1986 .
