Mr. Scheutt:
This letter regards the permanent access to the Western Mobile batch
plant at 1013 N. 25th Avenue in Greeley. As you requested, during
our telephone conversation on Tuesday, October 24, a written
description and explanation is addressed herein.
The asphalt, concrete and mining operations located in the 1000
block of North 25th Avenue, previously operated by the Flatiron
Companies, are now controlled by Western Mobile Northern. Near
future plans of Western Mobile include the moving of the asphalt
plant from the east side of 25th Avenue to the west side just south
of the existing concrete batch plant and shop. A truck scale to
accommodate asphalt and sand and gravel sales will also be located
at the south end of this site. As you can see, access to 25th
Avenue at the south end of this site would not only be very useful
at this site, but would help to reduce traffic congestion generated
by the ready mixed concrete traffic using the northern access.

This southern most access was used on occasion by Flatiron in the
past. It is our desire to verify it as an approved access or to
have it approved if it is not. Please contact us for any further
information you may require to accomplish this request. Your
