RE: ASSESSMENT OF COSTS - WELD COUNTY NORTHMOOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1988-1
A public hearing was conducted on November 16, 1988, at 10:00 A.M. ,
with the following present:
Commissioner Gene Brantner, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 24, 1988, and
duly published October 26, 1988, in the Platteville Herald, a public
hearing was conducted to consider assessment of costs for Weld County
Northmoor Local Improvement District No. 1988-1. Lee Morrison,
Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. Don Carroll,
representing the Eqgineering Department, stated that construction on
this project will be completed by the end of the day. He reported that
the total cost of the project was $105,809.00; with the County portion
being $9, 199.24. Wilson Farms, owner of three farms in the area, made
a contribution of $2,337.33 to the project, leaving a total of
$94,272.43 to be divided among the owners of the 121 lots in Northmoor
Acres Subdivision and Northmoor Acres Second Filing. The assessment
per lot amounts to $779. 11. No public testimony was offered concerning
this request. Mr. Morrison noted that no objections were filed in
writing prior to this hearing and that a Resolution has been prepared
reflecting the above mentioned assessment of costs. Commissioner
Johnson moved to approve the Resolution assessing the costs of
improvements for Weld County Northmoor Local Improvement District No.
1988-1. Seconded by Commissioner Lacy, the motion carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 21st day of November, 1988.
