RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF SHOW CAUSE HEARING - CLARA MOORE,
SHIRLEY JEAN BOYD AND GERALD WAYNE MOORE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of November, 1989 , a public hearing
was held to consider revocation of Change of Zone Z-261 , issued to
Clara Moore, Shirley Jean Boyd, and Gerald Wayne Moore, and
WHEREAS, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said
hearing to December 6 , 1989 , at 10 : 00 A.M. , to allow time for
submission of the proper paperwork to change the zoning to correct
the violations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Show Cause
hearing for Clara Moore, Shirley Jean Boyd, and Gerald Wayne Moore
be, and hereby is, continued to December 6 , 1989, at 10 : 00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
November, A.D. , 1989 .

HEARING CERTIFICATION

RE: SHOW CAUSE FOR REVOCATION OF CHANGE OF ZONE Z-361 - CLARA MOORE,
SHIRLEY JEAN BOYD, AND GERALD WAYNE MOORE
A public hearing was conducted on November 8, 1989, at 10:00 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Chairman - Excused
Commissioner Gene R. Brantner, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner George Kennedy
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Keith Schuett
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated October 4, 1989, and
duly published October 25, 1989, in The New News, a public hearing was
conducted to show cause for revocation of Change of Zone Z-261, issued
to Clara Moore, Shirley Jean Boyd, and Gerald Wayne Moore. Lee
Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. Keith
Schuett, representing the Planning Department, stated that this
property is still in violation, and the Planning staff recommends that
the County Attorney be authorized to proceed with legal action to bring
the property into compliance. Gerald Moore came forward to explain
that the third mobile home on the property is being used for storage
only, and that an application has been submitted for such use.
Commissioner Lacy pointed out to Mr. Moore that auto sales are
definitely in violation of the current zoning on this property. No
public comment was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Lacy
moved to continue this hearing to December 6, 1989, at 10:00 a.m. , to
allow the property owners time to bring the property into compliance or
submit the necessary paperwork for zoning changes. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Kennedy, and it carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 13th day of November, 1989.
