RE: DENIAL OF REQUEST FOR 30-DAY EXTENSION TO COMPLY WITH
OPERATION STANDARDS FOR USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW - CHITTENDEN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board did, on the 17th day of April, 1985 ,
approve the Use by Special Review application for an agricultural
recreational facility submitted by James and Norma Chittenden, and
WHEREAS, the Board has now been presented with a request for
a 30-day extension in order to comply with Operation Standards
Number 3 , 4 and 6 associated with said Use by Special Review, and
WHEREAS , Commissioner Brantner moved to approve the request
of James and Norma Chittenden for a 30-day extension and the
motion died for lack of a second; thereby constituting a denial of
said request by the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of James
and Norma Chittenden for a 30-day extension in order to comply
with Operation Standards Number 3 , 4 and 6 associated with their
Use by Special Review for an agricultural recreational facility
be, and hereby is, denied.
The above and foregoing Resolution was adopted on the 15th
day of May, A.D. , 1985 .
