RE: APPROVE LETTER GRANTING PERMISSION TO FAIRWAY ENERGY CORP. TO
COMMENCE DRILLING OPERATIONS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , pursuant to a Weld County Oil and Gas Lease, Fairway
Energy Corp. requested that the Board of County Commissioners sign
a letter granting them permission to commence drilling on a
certain portion of land on which Weld County holds an Oil and Gas
Lease, and
WHEREAS, that parcel of land on which they propose to drill a
test well is more particularly described as follows:
The Southeast Quarter of Section 10 , Township
7 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said request and authorize the Chairman to sign the letter
granting permission for said drilling operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of
Fairway Energy Corp. that the Board sign a letter granting them
permission to commence drilling operations on the aforementioned
parcel of land be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said letter.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
June, A.D. , 1985 .
