RE: FINAL BUDGET HEARING FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989
A public hearing was conducted on November 14, 1988, at 9:30 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Gene Brantner, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tommie Antuna
Assistant County Attorney, Jan Rundus
Director of Finance & Administration, Donald Warden
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 1, 1988, and
duly published September 14, 1988, in the Platteville Herald, a public
hearing was conducted to consider the Final Budget for Fiscal Year
1989. Don Warden, Director of Finance and Administration, explained
that this hearing was continued from October 26, pending the outcome of
Amendment #6. Mr. Warden said Exhibit B, which is a part of the
Commissioners packet, indicates the action taken by the Board during
the work sessions. He also explained the other Exhibits A through H.
No public comment was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner
Johnson moved to adopt the 1989 Budget as presented. Commissioner
Yamaguchi seconded the motion which carried unanimously. The Board
commended Mr. Warden for the fine job he did during the budget
hearings.
This Certification was approved on the 16th day of November, 1988.
