RE: DENIAL OF PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF LANDS INTO THE EASTERN
WELD PEST CONTROL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on June 27 , 1985 , the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Weld, Colorado, received a Petition for annexing
lands into the Eastern Weld Pest Control District from the Leech
Turf Nursery, William C. Keist, P. O. Box 97 , Henderson, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, said Petition described the boundaries of the land
proposed to be annexed into the Eastern Weld Pest Control District
as:
That land lying South of the Burlington
Northern, starting one mile west of Roggen and
then West to approximately one mile south of
Tampa Junction, East one and one-half mile,
North one mile, East one and one-half mile,
and then North to point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the bounded area
described in said Petition is already within the Eastern Weld Pest
Control District boundaries.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Weld, Colorado, that the Petition
for annexing the lands into the Eastern Weld Pest Control
District, as submitted by the Leech Turf Nursery, William C.
Keist, is hereby denied for the reason that the bounded area
described in said Petition is already included within the Eastern
Weld Pest Control District.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of

The undersigned petitioner(s), desire the land(s) listed below be annexed
into the fas4¢Yn L'Ql\_ Pest Control District pursuant to the
provisions of Article 5 of Title 35, CRS 1973, as amended, do hereby petition
said Board of County Commissioners for that purpose and represent as follows:
1. That the description of the boundaries of the land proposed to be annexed
into the above stated Pest Control District is as follows:
The land is that land lying south of the Burlington Northern
startin 1 mile west of Roggen and then west to Approx. I mile
south of Tampa Junction. East 11 mile North 1 mile East 111 milt

2. That each person signing the petition has his or her legal residence within
this county or within an adjacent county in the State of Colorado; that a
description of the land owned by each petitioner within the boundaries of
the proposed annexed land, together with the proper signature and address
