RESOLUTION
RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the County has identified that a John Deere grader
ripper attachment which was purchased from Larimer County
Equipment is no longer needed, and
WHEREAS, Larimer County Equipment has offered to purchase
said grader ripper attachment back from the County for a price of
$1 ,500 .00 , and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by
the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the John Deere ripper
attachment be, and hereby is, declared surplus property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the
sale of the ripper attachment to Larimer County Equipment for the
amount of $1 ,500 .00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
January, A.D. , 1988 .
