RE: APPROVE DESIGNATION OF THE OFFICE OF WELD COUNTY SHERIFF AS
COORDINATOR OF THE SOUTH WELD COUNTY SERVICE CENTER BUILDING
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , on the 18th day of January, 1982 , the Board did , by
Resolution, designate the Weld County Clerk and Recorder as
coordinator of the South Weld County Service Center Building , and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to now designate the Sheriff' s
Office as the coordinator of said building, and
WHEREAS, Ed Jordan, Weld County Sheriff, has agreed that the
ranking officer of the Weld County Sheriff' s Office Substation be
designated as the coordinator of the South Weld County Service
Center Building.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County , Colorado, that the ranking officer
of the Weld County Sheriff' s Office Substation be, and hereby is ,
designated as the Coordinator of the South Weld County Service
Center Building, with said designation to be effective March 15 ,
1987 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
March, A.D. , 1987 .
