RE: ACCEPT PETITION CONCERNING AMENDMENT TO SECTION 2-4 OF
ARTICLE II OF THE WELD COUNTY HOME RULE CHARTER
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , a petition to amend Section 2-4 of Article II of the
Weld County Home Rule Charter, concerning service districts , was
submitted at the Board meeting of September 10 , 1986 , and
WHEREAS, said petition is to be reviewed by Mary Ann
Feuerstein , Weld County Clerk and Recorder , for verification of
proper form and sufficient signatures, and
WHEREAS, said verification is to be presented to the Board,
at which time a Resolution shall be prepared for the submittal of
said amendment to the qualified registered voters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the petition to amend
Section 2-4 of Article II of the Weld County Home Rule Charter be,
and hereby is , accepted for review by the Weld County Clerk and
Recorder.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of
September, A.D. , 1986.
