RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL
REVIEW FOR MOTOCROSS RACE TRACK FACILITY - VINCE FREY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of August, 1985 , the Board of County
Commissioners held a public hearing in the Chambers of the Board
to consider the application of Vince Frey for a Use by Special
Review for a motocross race track facility, and
WHEREAS , because only three Commissioners were present at the
hearing of August 14 , 1985 , the applicant chose to continue this
matter to a date when all five Commissioners will be present, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to continue the
hearing to consider the application of Vince Frey for a Use by
Special Review to August 28 , 1985 , at 2 :00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing
concerning the request of Vince Frey for a Use by Special Review
be, and hereby is, continued to August 28 , 1985 , at 2 :00 p.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
August, A.D. , 1985 . �]�

A public hearing was conducted on August 14, 1985, at 2:00 P.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Chairman
Commissioner Gene Brantner, Pro-Tem (Excused)
Commissioner C.W. Kirby (Excused)
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Debbie Campbell
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn

Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record, and stated that
this had been continued from July 24, 1985. Chairman Johnson stated
that, since there were only three Commissioners present, the applicant
could continue this matter to a date when all five would be present.
Vince Frey came forward and stated that he would like to continue his
application to another date when all five Commissioners will be
present. Commissioner Lacy moved to continue the application of Vince
Frey to August 28, 1985 at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Yamaguchi seconded
the motion and it carried unanimously.
