GRAHAM WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners o-f Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , on July 2, 198E , the Board considered a request for a _Use by Special -Review permit for a horse training and breeding center from Donald D. and Janeta K. Graham, and WHEREAS, due to an error by the County legal newspaper, the Johnstown Breeze, the Notice concerning this hearing was not published ten days prior to the scheduled hearing, and WHEREAS , the Roard deems it necessary to continue this -natter to July 23 , 1986 , and direct the Clerk to the Board' s Office to have a Notice published in the -Johnstown Breeze on July 10 , 198E , indicating the date of said continuance. NOW, THEREFORE, IBE _IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to consider the request of Donald D. and -Janeta K. Graham for a Dse by Special Review be, and hereby is, continued to July 23 , 19E66 . AND JANETA K. GRAHAM A public hearing was conducted on July 2, 1986, at 2:00 P.M. , with the following present: Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson, Chairman Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Pro-Tem Commissioner Gene -Brantner - Excused Commissioner C.W. Kirby Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Debbie Campbell Assistant County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker Planning Department representative, _Debbie de Besche The following business was tr-ansacted: Pursuant to a notice dated May 28, 1986, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request for a Use by Special Review for a horse training and breeding center from Donald D. and Janeta K. Graham. Bruce Barker, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record. He explained to the Board that the County legal newspaper, the Johnstown Breeze, failed to publish the Notice concerning this matter on June 19 as scheduled; therefore, this matter was not published ten days prior to the hearing. He recommended that the Board continue the hearing to July 23, 1986, and have the Notice republished on July 10, meeting the ten-day publication requirement. Donald and Janeta Graham _were present and agreed to this recommendation. Commissioner Lacy moved to continue this matter to July 23 and direct the Clerk to the Board to re-publish the Notice on July 10. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Kirby, carried uanimously.
