RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON CERTAIN
PORTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 13
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that speed limit signs be installed on old Weld County Road
13 between the Frederick city limits and State Highway 52 , and
WHEREAS, upon said recommendation from the Engineering
Department, the Board has determined that the installation of said
signs are necessary for the protection of the general public, and
WHEREAS, the Board did determine that 35-mile per hour speed
limit signs be installed on said road for both north and south
bound traffic .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Road and Bridge
Department be, and hereby is, directed to install 35-mile per hour
speed limit signs on old Weld County Road 13 between the Frederick
city limits and State Highway 52 , said signs shall conform to the
State Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
April, A.D. , 1988 .
