RE: APPROVE DECLARING CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and
WHEREAS, the County has identified that a 1978 Dodge Kary Van
C30 is no longer needed by Weld County and is recommended to be
sold to the City of Greeley for $5 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual requires that all items disposed of be declared surplus
property by the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that a 1978 Dodge Kary Van
C30 with VIN No. C30BE8V735652 be , and hereby is , declared surplus
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the 1978 Dodge Kary
Van C30 be, and hereby is , authorized to be sold to the City of
Greeley for $5 , 000 . 00.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
August, A.D. , 1986 .
