Re : Solid Waste Disposal Sites and Facilities Inspections
Gentlemen :
On July 16 and 22 , 1985 representatives of this Division
performed inspections of the Road 54-E-Vep Park Brine Waste
Disposal Facility and the Landfill Systems Inc . sanitary landfill
in Weld County, Colorado . The purpose of theje inspections were
to assess the compliance of these facilities with the minimum
standards of the Solid Wastes Disposal Sites and Facilities Act ,
(30- 20 Part 1 , C . R . S . 1985 , as amended) and the requirements of
the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act . The inspection
results are summarized below. A copy of the field inspection
reports are enclosed for your reference .
The results of these inspections indicates that this facility
appears to be in compliance with the State and Federal Statutes
referenced above . (It should be noted that groundwater monitoring
data was not checked . )
