RE: GRANT REQUEST OF ASSOCIATED NATURAL GAS , INC. TO PRE-
ADVERTISE AMENDED USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Associated Natural Gas , Inc. has submitted a letter
requesting that an Amended Use by Special Review application be
pre-advertised, and
WHEREAS, a copy of said letter of request is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference , and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it appropriate to
grant said request to pre-advertise this matter and set the
hearing date as October 7 , 1987 , at 2 :00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of
Associated Natural Gas , Inc. to pre-advertise an Amended Use by
Special Review application be, and hereby is , granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to
consider said request be, and hereby is , set as October 7 , 1987,
at 2 : 00 p.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
September, A.D. , 1987 .

the pre-advertisement of their application to amend an existing
Use by Special Review. This hearing can be scheduled on October
IX, 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. The time savings to them would be minimal.

Gentlemen :
Associated Natural Gas , Inc . ( ANGI) has applied to amend
our existing permit in order to expand our Greeley Plant to
include a Fractionator Unit . If the permit is approved , we
expect to implement the expansion immediately. This facility is
being built to supply propane in this front range market and to
enhance the marketability of liquids derived from Weld County
oil and gas wells.
The Weld County Department of Planning Services has
scheduled our permit for action by the Weld County Planning
Commission on September 15 , 1987 .
As we are anxious to get started on the plant expansion ,
and since the permitting process has been lengthly so far , we
herewith request that the Board of County Commissioners allow
the permit hearing to be preadvertized in order to expedite the
permitting process.
We are both aware of the value of oil and gas production to
Weld County , and the proposed plant expansion will permit its
continued growth.
Your serious consideration of this matter will be greatly
-appreciated.
