RE: PURCHASE OF ITEK EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that in order to
facilitate the printing operation in Weld County that a
camera/processor is required to make aluminized plates , and
WHEREAS , research done by County staff has indicated that
the only machine available on the market that provides
aluminized plates and positive paper prints is manufactured by
Itek and is an Itek Model 435 , and
WHEREAS , Weld County Purchasing Policies require that
whenever a purchase is made from a sole provider that it be
done by Board resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County that Purchasing is hereby
authorized to purchase an Itek Model 435 Camera/Processor and
associated peripheral equipment from Itek Graphic Systems as a
sole provider, not to exceed $16 ,651 . 00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of
March, A.D. , 1985.
