RE: APPROVE CORRECTION TO RESOLUTION APPOINTING WELD 911
EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, by Resolution dated July 13 , 1988 ,
appoint certain persons to serve on the Weld 911 Emergency
Telephone Service Authority Board, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution stated that their terms are to
expire July 13 , 1990 , and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8 , Paragraph 3 , of the
Intergovernmental Agreement regarding the establishment of said
Board, the term of the members of said Board is to expire the
second Tuesday of January, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to correct the term of
those members appointed in the above mentioned Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the term of office of
those members appointed to the Weld 911 Emergency Telephone
Service Authority Board be, and hereby is, corrected to expire the
second Tuesday in January, 1990 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
July, A.D. , 1988 .
