O. Box 759 Greeley, CO 80632 L Dear Sheriff Andrews, I have enclosed the 1985 Operating and Financial Plan for our Cooperative Law Enforcement Agreement. You will notice there are fewer patrols in the campground this year, so our total cost is less than last year. We think the number of patrols will be adequate coverage for the areas listed. I would like the remaining $662.00 to be applied toward equipment or supplies that will increase the effectiveness of our law enforcement efforts. Since there is a distinct possibility Federal cooperative law enforcement funds may not be included in future Federal budget allocations, supplies and equipment should be acquired this year. I would like to work with your people to decide what items will increase our cooperative efforts and the efficiency of our law enforcement efforts. Please prepare a list of items you would like to use the $662.00 to acquire. The money could also be used to acquire Weld County equipment to be used by Forest Service employees. Please review the enclosed Operating and Financial Plan and provide the appropriate signatures listed on page 3 if you approve of the Plan. Return the signed Plan to this office for the Forest Supervisor's signature. Your copy will be returned to you after Mr. Benton has signed the agreement. Sincerely, e 5 , RANDLE G.
